Change spark plugs on 2002 2.4L
Hi,
I'm new to the forum, but this is my fourth Volvo, though I haven't owned one for a while. I have 82,000 miles on it, and would like to change the plugs, but I don't readilly see where they are. I am somewhat mechanically literate, and think that I can handle it, but don't want to get into something that I'm slightly unfamiliar with. Thanks in advance.

Remove the black top cover on the motor.
You will have to remove the 2 screws holding the turbo pipe if it is turbo. Then remove the screws holding the black cover on.
Once the cover is off remove the screws holding the coils to the spark plugs and remove them(Number the coils first with a marker so you won't get them mixed up.#1 is by the timing belt)
Then replace the plugs.
Install everything in reverse order.
