I have a 98 V70, it all of a sudden just strted to sputter very hard. It turns on but now when i hit the gas and the rev limmiter goes past 1500 RPM it pretty much dies and it does that over and over again and if i do it while i drive it seems like a stick shift car and the driver cannot drive stick, just jump back and forth. and my check engine light came on. What can it be!!

 

It cna be many things you need to have the codes pulled.
