Default checking tranny fluid

I can't find any references to check the transmission level in the Owner's Mannual. Our 2001 V70 T5 automatic seems to be slipping at low speeds when power is needed. Where's the tranny dipstick and how do I fill if it is low? Thanks!

The dipstick is really hard to find it is like hidden behind the lower radiator hose.
Check it with the car running after you drive it for a little while.

If it is low you fill it through the dipstick tube.

Thanks! Could the slipping/hesitation (sp?) be from low fluid?

Will check in the morning. Thanks for the help.
The "DSTC system needs service" and "ABS system needs service" messages came on brieflytwice in the pas 3 days, but for only for short periods. Could this be realted to slipping/low tranny fluid? The V70 is my wife's car, and these deatils are just being shared with me.
Thanks for the assistance!

I will bet the ABS module is bad. You can get it rebuilt for about $100.00.

Thanks for the link, our V70 T5 is a 2001 with just over 130K...how do I confirm it is the module?

Usually by the codes. But the lights usually don't come in unless the module is bad or a sensor is broke. But the module is way more common than a sensor.
