Default Dome light switch?

Have a simple question - how do you turn on the overhead courtesy lights over the rear seat and cargo area. Do they work from same switch over the mirror as the front dome lights? Owner's manual does not specifically state. Trying to work thru a bunch of wiring/electrical issues and not sure whether they are messed up too or I simply don't know how to work 'em.
thanks!

What model year car do you have? They may have burned out light bulbs.

I'd make sure the switch is on so that they come on when you open the door. If any of them work when you open the doors, you should be able to control them by their independant switches.

D'OH ! I guess it WOULD help you I let folks know what car I have!
'01 V70 with sunroof.

My specific question is - can I turn ALL overhead lights on from the driver's seat. On my Chrysler minivan, you just run the dash illumination brightness dial all the way to brightest and then there is one more click and all interior lights are on.

thanks!

Yes, when you open the door, or unlock the door with the remote.
