Default ECM-9150 error code from PPC reader

I bought the PPC code reader for my recent xmission codes and it has already paid for itself.

I've been getting a ECM-9150 ( Throttle Unit/Control Valve Inlet) intermittently. There isn't any obvious symptoms...just the warning triangle and Engine Service Required. I suspect this is the ETM right?

I have ALL the service records from the previous owner and found the ETM software upgrade was done at 71k 2yrs ago. If that's true, can I just replace the ETM when it goes bad and is it a DIY job? (I recently did the timing belt and Xmission flush) Is there PM I can do to extend the life of the ETM?

Detailed list of errors for: ECU ECM with code 9150 from PPC's websidte

ECM-9150 Control valve inlet. Signal too high
ECM-9150 Control valve inlet. Signal too low
ECM-9150 Electronic throttle module (ETM), internal fault. Faulty signal
ECM-9150 Throttle unit, internal fault. Faulty signal
ECM-9150 Throttle unit, potentiometer 1. Faulty signal
ECM-9150 Throttle unit, potentiometer 1. Signal too high
ECM-9150 Throttle unit, potentiometer 1. Signal too low

Anyway to isolate the problem to one of the above?

Make sure the vent system is clean.
The car may be under the extended warranty for the etm from Volvo which is 10 years 200,000 miles.
