Hi,
I have a 1997 Volvo V70 with an electric memory drivers seat. The main dealers have had a quick look at it for me and suspect the control box under the seat or one of the microswitches.
I want to get hold of a complete electric seat to use for parts. Can anyone confirm if they carried over the control box / switches from the 850 to the V70.
I can get hold of a cheap 850 seat locally which has come from a 1995 car and was hoping I may be able to use some of the parts.

I can tell you that on my 98 V70 I also had lousy controls but I found a whole seat in the scrap that was in better shape for about $100 and changing it was a matter of 15-2o min. That's what I would do.
