Emissions test problems
Anybody,
I recently acquired a 1999 Volvo V70 wagon in excellent condition with 150,000 miles on it. Great car, but it will not pass the emissions test. The test keeps indicating a #2 O2 sensor issue. I had my mechanic replace both O2 sensors (are there more than 2?) to the tune of $500. The car still will not pass. The mechanic told me he installed "Denzo" oxygen sensors and expressly recommended that I not opt for generic or universal sensors. What gives?!? What should my next step be? I've got to get this car registered. Any advice would be appreciated. CP Fergus |
these swede babes only like Bosch OEM plug and play sensors.
Generic or splicing universals won't do it. |
Bad catalytic converter.

Was there an OBD2 code (Pxxxx) set? If so, what was it?
