Estimated ReSale Value for 1999 V70 Station Wagon
Hey all. My parents-in-law have a 1999 V70 Station Wagon, dark green, 133,000 miles that they are interested in potentially selling. Everything is in decent shape with the exception of a non-working AC and leather interior wear and tear. We're trying to get an estimate value for any interested parties since Carvana and the like aren't interested in working with these older cars. Location is in South Hadley, MA if that helps.
Please help with either a value range or other websites or organizations to maximize the re-sale value. Much appreciated!

check out KBB.COM - they base their prices on public records and offer a decent model on how to assess the shape your car is in. "Decent shape" to me means there's wear and tear but nothing imminent in terms of a repair. Its still a 25 year old car with no special cachet so I'd guess its in good condition that with some detailing could move to very good condition. You can either sell as a private party or look for a trade in value. My bet is a trade in offer is going to be the $1K range, $2K tops since the dealer will need to recondition with the hopes of selling for $3K. If you sell as a private party, then you are looking at something like $2K or $3K. Considering its a New England car, rust on the chassis is going to be the value killer unless the car was undercoated when new. If you have rust then cut those values in half. PS we had a 95 850 that we retired at 250K miles in Connecticut - got $300 from junk yard due to rust.
