hey guys, the wife took the 2001 v-70 to get new tires and an alignment...when leaving the NTB, she noticed that the car wandered to the left and right and the steering wheel was not centered while driving...she called the NTB and they told her the car needed strut repair...$800 worth....would struts cause the car to wander from L to R ?? thanks for any reply ... amx1800

 

I'd take it back and tell them to align it right or you're going to the next place to get a second opinion.

I took two cars to Sears for alignments and they were very straight up and honest. They didn't know I had done all of the suspension, engine rebuild, etc work myself but didn't have a front end machine to do my own alignment. Still they gave me computer printouts of the align before and after. Proof of good work.
