Default Fuel line replacement on V70 volvo

Anyone had the misfortunment of having to replace the fuel lines on this unit. Had previously been Krown treated and it screwed up the pushlocks on the lines ends. I am going to replace the filter with the screw ends as I can't get the hoses to quit leaking. Both the pushlocks were damaged getting them off, even using the right tool. Filter had not been changed for some time by previous owner. Threaded connections do not leak! Bosch uses a filter with threaded ends, Pt. No. 1389562. Will have to fabricate ends and hoses for this replacement. Thanks, Old Iron nut.

Default Fuel line replacementon 98 V70 wagons

If you have to replace the lines on this unit, go to your hydraulic supply shop and get one M14 1.5 and get one M12 1.5 adapter to take 5/16"band clamps for barbtite brass fittings for the existing plastic fuel hoses. Also get band clamps for the hoses. My cash outlay for the filter, hose, and clamps was about $25.00. Metric adapters and brass fittings was another $20. Some jobber on the east cost wanted $350.00 for the plastic hose, pushlock fitting, and the metal connection at the front of the motor. Everything fit and NO LEAKS!. Sorry for the delay but the weather hasn't been warmed enough for working in my air conditioned garage. You will have to get a length of 5/16" hose suitable for fuel line. Good luck, Old Iron Nut.
