Is this a gooD deal for a 2003 v70?
Hello,
I have a line on a private party V70. 51k miles, traction control, leather and a few power options. Transmission replaced 3k miles ago and it has a new, 7 year, 100k mile warranty that covers essentially everything but oil changes and brakes. The asking price is $15k. We're taking it for a test drive tonight.
Is this a good deal and should we be prepared to make a purchase?
Thanks!Joe

$15k by KBB standards is high.
Now I put in a 2003 v70 2.4 model. Of course non turbo, you didn't say turbo so I assumed non turbo.
$13,300 is the highest I would go if this is the case. Maybe $13,500.

I bought mine with 50k back in November. It is immaculate, (really, I am very picky) all power options, sunroof, leather, booster seats and auto climate control for $12K. Warranties usually run about $1800-$2200 so I think that it's a little high.
I bought a 2002 v70T5 a yr ago.. it's only $16,700 CAD out the door.... DSTC, dolby pro-logic sound package andsecurity packageall the option in 02... only around 60K miles. But if your car have VIP warrranty that can transfer to you it woulda totally different story.. it will worth $15K
