Default Goodies came in the mail for the "R"

I got my new plugs, wires, Cap and rotor today! I also got my IPD Turbo Control Valve and blue silicon hoses (small vacuum ones). Going to put it all on Saturday and replace all the old deteriating vacuum hoses. Got to get my power back because it is SLOW!!! I have the original wires still on the car from 1998 (date stamped on the sleeve), plugs look pretty bad as well.

I hooked up a boost gauge and I am only seeing 7-8psi in all gears. It jumps up to 10psi and creeps up to 11psi around 4500 RPMs. Between shifts it hit's 15psi and then settles back at 7-8psi and starts all over again. So I definitly have some weird boost characteristics going on. I adjusted the wastgate rod tonight so we'll see if that changes anything. It was too "tight" (IPD Jargon) and I had to lenghten the rod to fit. I'll report back later.

Cool, I just got some silicone vac lines in the mail, took an hour to install (3 from the tcv, 1 right under the intake manifold) had more left over, so I siliconed all rubber lines I could find.

The rod adjustment really made no changes (it wasn't my magic bullit). I may have to shorten it some for a little more boost but I will do that after I replace all my lines. Next will be all the pressure intercooler lines.
