Default Grill parts#s??

Hi Folks...........

I'd like to swap out the grill for an R style grill on the girlfriends 02 V70 2.4T, its got the ugly chrome vertical one now. ..........I see there are about 6 different ones listed for this year alone! I'd like an R style grill, or what I see referred to as a eggcrate(?) grill at the least. What years fit, and does anyone have part #s? The grill fairly easy to swap out? Thanks

If the v70 grill is similar to a c70 grill................I just changed mine to an xc grill which is what you are looking for. Go to the c70 site and you should see some recent postings re: grilles.

Going to be in the 70's here in Columbus, OH tomorrow. Going to get cold again on Friday though. Looks like the grass is just starting to green up. Great back to cutting two acres twice a week again shortly.

Okay everyone I have been reading your post for grills, I too have been trying to change my 2002 V70T5 grill as well. I have done all the home work and spend a lot of money but here it is. You must buy the 2005 S80 grill (eggcrates). Then you must cut all of the back attchments off. Now I know your all wonder how come you didn't use the S60 grill? The S60 grill is smaller and you'll have to much play in between the bumper and the grill. The S80 fits just right. Get yourself some 3m double sided tape(industrial). Volvo made all there grill with offset clips. None of them line up close to the V70 clips. DO NOT try and ask the parts guys in the Volvo dealerships. Most of them don't know whatthey are talking about. Also Don't let them persuade you into buying a XC70 grill. It will not work! The bumper is totally different and the grill has a slight swell on the bottom. I have been searching for this grill for months. To save money look on ebay and also call Myswedisharts .com they are cheaper than the dealer by 20%. The funny thing is when I owned my 2000 S80 I wanted to change the grill on it, so that is how I wound up with mine. Good luck everyone .
