headlight washer ?
I noticed that when I operate my windshield washer, the junction that joins the two headlight washers together has a relief hole in it.
although the hoses aren't clogged, the fluid squirts from this hole, rather than at the headlights themselves.
is this part neccessary ? can I delete it and install a "t" fitting?

Yes you can delete the factory one. When the fluid come out the hole like that it means the diaphram inside is bad.
They put the valves in there to help hold pressure. The only way it will affect it at all is it will take a few seconds longer for the fluid to reach the wiper arms to come out.

The t-valve for the headlight washers seems to be defective since the right side washer gets much more fluid pressure than the left side. I have the replacement part but how exactly do you access the t-valve? Thanks from Canada!
