Heated seat not working any suggestions?

Heated seat not working any suggestions?

I have a 01 V70 T5. The driver side seat heater does not work, passenger side works fine. I have checked the fuse and it is ok. Any other ideas. The nearest Volvo dealer is 2 states and 4 hours away. Any DIY ideas would be great.

The bad part is you would need to chcek for codes.
