My wife's 2007 Volvo v70 needs new blades.

I went to Pep Boys and got some Rain X blades that should fit.

When I get them home the attachments are different.

From reading a little it says that the 2007 Volvo has an I&R attachment. But I can't figure out how to get the new blades on.

I tried to remove the connector from the old blade, as I think that may be the trick, but it seems very tight and doesn't budge.

HELP!

Any advice on how to attach these blades.....

Those are not the correct blades, you need the ones with the proper mounting type. I prefer Trico Neoforms, although I have the Rainx on my truck. Usually get them at Rockauto.com for around $14 ea.

 

Yeah, feel your pain on this. Just had rainx blades installed when oil changed at 30 minute "lube ya now" place. They had to break open two packs of different sizes, one for drivers side and one for passengers. Said the driver's side was hitting so needed inch smaller. This is on 98 volvo v70. Accurate? If so that would be a good reason not to buy them myself.... Does seem to work ok now.
