Greetings my fellow Volvo comrades,
So here's my issue...The other day I was driving my Volvo v70 awd se when all of a sudden the SRS light turns on and my steering wheel tightens up, my gas and breaks tighten up, and I am just barely able to pull over to the side of the road until it dies on me. So I get it towed home and I plug the thing that gives you codes that shows what's wrong with your car. The only code that shows up is p1139 which indicates a bad o2 sensor...so my question is which o2 sensor can it be? Upstream or downstream? Also my car had overheated in the past from the coolant area and my oil was bone dry at the time it died...sorry for the rant and thank you for your help!

The oxygen sensor is not the problem. You should ignore that for now and look at the other symptoms. If you don't find that useful, a better scan tool that can read Volvo-specific codes, particularly the SRS code in question, would be a good idea.
