We have a newly acquired 1999 V70 non turbo with an auto transmission. The ignition key is frequently difficult to turn into the start position. Jiggling with the **** under the gear shift (which feels very loose) usually helps. On one occaision that did not work, but activating and deactivating the emergency brake fixed the issue (?!) Any ideas as to what the problem could be?
