Default Lifter tick

I got the tick. Seems to very in volume a lot. It often is loud right when I start the car and then drops below the noise of the engine within seconds. It also seems to get louder the longer I have been Driving. One day It seemed to be gone then, later, it started again. Any Idea what could be causing it?

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Chances are you have a lifter tick. You can post a video on YouTube or somewhere and link it here for use to hear.

Default Video (Ticking sound)

The ticking sound is most audible at the end of the video. Let me know what you can gather. IMG 3096 - YouTube
