I have a current 95 850 GLT with about 220k on it new struts/shocks, control arms, tires, brakes and its wonderful for everyday workhorse duty. I want another wagon for having 3 kids and how great the 850 is instead of a dowdy minivan or SUV. I was looking at BMW Volvo and Audi and all seem of big repair bills ad the miles get up there .. though Volvo seems not so bad and I know my way around one since I have been doing a lot of work myself and I know the newer V70's have lots of stuff in the same places.

anyway whats the best V70 to get reliable wise or is there not much of a difference in the engines since they are all generally the same.. 2.4 base turbo 2.5 turbo or the T5.. I am looking at getting one in a month or so and want a 2002-2004 and of course would love a T5 though I can find mainly 2.5T's.
