Just been away in the V70 for 2 weeks on holiday 5 of us the dog roof box tons of luggage all types of driving from 5 hr traffic jam to 110 mph 200 mile jaunts 2000 miles over 2 weeks the car never missed a beat and returned a very respectable 31.7mpg which I thought was great all in all very happy with the car BUT did I do a wrong move just before the trip I thought it would be a good idea to replace the headlight bulbs with a set of the brighter blue tint type ones what a big no no, I cant get the dammed things back in properly, spoke to volvo dealers who told me that on the 05-07 models the only way is to remove the fromt bumper and headlights and put the bulbs in the lights then put the headlights back in then replace the bumper !!!! they quoted £200 for the job, 200 quid to put 2 bulbs in, wish id left them alone !!!
