Need advise on a late model 2015 D5 engine for V70
Hi everyone!
I am considering buying a 2015 V70 diesel with a 5 cylinder 2.4 L D5 engine. Should I expect this 2015 D5 have the faulty piston rings as a VEA 2015 4 cylinders do and as a result be an oil burner? Thanks!
p.s. I am currently driving a first generation D5 which is bulletproof and trouble free, but want to make sure Volvo did not do anything to these engines in the 2015 - 2016 era that would cause oil consumption due to emissions.
