Default newbee with v70 vibration

I've browsed the site a few days and signed on for the first time yesterday. Greatforum and hello to all. I live in san francisco andhave a 2001 v70t5 with 85k thatwill produce a vibration at 1300 rpm, which canbe felt and heard while driving (or standing still in gearwith brakes applied). It has always had a rough idle that was felt in the cabin, but this has worsenedin the last 4k. Once past 1300rpm, it smooths out, but ifthe throttle is heald at 1300, the enginevibration is bad enough to get the exhaustheat sheild, andsomething behind the insturment clusterbuzzing. It's especially bad during cold starts with air temps @45-55 degrees, then gets better afterdriving a while/warmed-up.5k ago, I replaced the belt and tensioner, sparkplugs, right side engine mount, and a leaky heater core. Recently replaced torn upper &lower and torque mounts, and trans fluid. Searching this site has led me to focus on engine mounts, subframe mounts and cv joint/axle.I've ruled out wheel hubs fornow. My question is how can I tell if the mounts, cv joints arefaulty? Front & rear mounts are not leaking; no tears in other mounts, and subframe mounts don't seem sagged (but not sure). I do feel some driveline slop when on/off thottle. Also see inbound left c/v joint boot not torn, but grease has seeped past boot and sprayed around undercarrage.Removed boot and full of grease, no rust. Seems ok. Any input would be greatly appreciated.BTW, I FOLLOWED THE INSTUCTIONS FOR TRANNY FLUSH POSTED ON THIS SITE BY 'tech' AND ALL WENT SPENDEDLY. I USED TOYOTA TYPE IV FLUID WHICH I ALSO LEARNED ABOUT ON THIS SITE( SO FAR SO GOOD). TOMORROW, I CHANGE THE OIL AND SHUT OFF THE SERVICE LIGHT, ALSO THANKS TO "TECH'. -FABO

As a discussion thread ages, it sinks down until it doesn't show up on the first page anymore -- people tend to lose interest on the other pages. Posting "bump" is a way to keep the thread right up at the top of the forum. You could say something other than "bump" but obscenities are discouraged ... unless there's more than a few beers involved.

Thanksall for yourresponses. I haven't figured out how to "bump" yet, so please bear with me. I removed e.t.m. as suggested (threadby howard cheng posted on swedspeed tells how). Ifound unit already very clean.it was replaced and 40k andsoftwear update(campaign 155) performed 68k. Icleaned, anyway, as best i could and replaced. no difference. any other suggestions would be greatly appriecated.

Thanks for responding. I don't have a way to check codes. No message on dash display though. Engine did not seem effected by disconnected battery and etm unit. Had to reset sunroof, radio, etc., however. Tech,it seems you have focusedawayfromrubber mounts, c/v joints. Are they to be eliminated as possible culprets? What about faulty belt tensioner?I supposeI should modify the symptom by saying that the "vibration"could also be discribed as a "rumble" that travels throughout carif rpm is held, (especially when vehicle not movingin gear with brake on); then, heat shield and some loose bit behind instrument cluster vibrate loudly. Also, symptom can be felt when driving slowly(stop n go traffic- which i do a lot of - andcircling parking lots, etc.). I can reproduce itwhen driving slowly and manually using 1st, 2nd,gears, butnotat higher mphin 4-5 gears at that rpm. weird. Thanks in advancefor you help.
