Does it make any noise when you are driving straight?
Does it make any noise when you turn left?

Any more info will help a little more.

not so much when I am going straight, I misspoke when I said turning right, when turning LEFT the noise is on the right. it is not the usual rubbing of the tire it is a low humming sound, that has not been there before. also some what "loose" feeling in the suspension.
hope that is enough info

thanks for any help

I had the same thing, dealer said the control arm bushing was warn, they replaced the whole control arm, I didn't care because it was still under warranty. I thought this was way too early for this to wear out, but perhaps the previous owner drove like a maniac. I'm waiting for the driver side to go next. The bill would have been ~$400, though. Ouch.

By what you are explaining it sounds like it might be a bad wheel bearing.

One of the front wheels could lock up.That is what makes the front and rear wheels move freely.

Took back to the dealer where I bought it, all kinds of rubber parts were replaced, and some rod that connects the suspension together.
also replaced the post cat O2 sensor, AND the sunroof glass that was falling apart. cost $50 deduct. once again thanks to SD Volvo
thanks for all the input folks
