Default Oil in my piping from turbo to intercooler

Hi,
I have an 03 v70 2.4 turbo, it just turned 105k miles so I am doing the major service on it. I removed the pipe that goes from the air filter box to the turbo and just before the turbo there is a large vacuum line with an elbow and an electrical connection that connects to the pipe and the oil in coming in from that vacuum line. The vacuum line appears to be coming from the intake manifold area, actually from under the intake manifold. I didn't think the newer v70's had the flame trap anymore, so I'm not sure what is causing this........the car really doesn't use any oil to speak of between oil changes. Any help would be appreciated.

That pipe comes from the Vent box.
You might have a clog somewhere in the vent system which is pumping the oil into the pipe.

At that mileage I would stick in a new PCV (dirt cheap) and clean all the pipes (especially the thin pipe that connect underneath the intake manifold on the left).

Yeah I pulled the oil trap and pipes, they definently had some stuff in them but nothing was completely plugged. I am going to replace the oil trap and hoses. Anything else that might be causing this? Or is just some build up enough to cause this?

Some build up is enough.
Espically the small nipple on the banjo fitting on the bottom of the intake.

The banjo fitting on the bottom of the intake was plugged. The small vacuum hose itself wasn't plugged. After I reassemble everything should I run some seafoam thru the car to clean it out?

Thank for all the help.

You can but remember that will only clean the valves though.

I accidentally broke the hard plastic pipe that goes on the ****** end of the banjo fitting. Any reason I can't judt replace it with rubbed vacuum hose. I assume that you need a special tool to put a piece of the hard plastic hose on the banjo fitting or buy the whole new assembly.[:@]

I am finally getting everything back together and I am replacing the large rubber hoses that connect at the output of the turbo and the input of the intercooler. The new hoses from Volvo have the clamps attached to the hoses with a crimped piece of metal and then spot welded to the clamp, am I supposed to leave that or remove it? It is really hard if not impossible to get these hoses on the plastic pipe.

Thanks

You can remove them if you want to.
