Default Problem with Central Locking fuse

1998 V70 Glt

Drove home one night and parked, next day it would not crank.
Found the #6 Central locking fuse was blown, replaced it, and the car started right up.

Now here is the problem, When i go to lock the car, the #6 fuse blows again, and then the car will not start... until the fuse is replaced.
I have gone through a hand full of fuses repeating this process and I cant seem to determine the cause of the fuse blowing.

I have searched and found one other thread describing a similar problem, but no solution was mentioned.

any ideas? a short somewhere in a door lock? central locking relay?
What might be the best way to start troubleshooting this problem?

Thanks, the site has been a terrific resource so far

ok, so one click of the key fob to lock the driver door works fine, the second click of the key fob triggers the fuse to blow.

does this mean there is a short in one of the other doorlocks?

Found the problem!

The tailgate power lock mechanism was foul, and over loading the circuit. After unplugging the power lock mech, no more blown fuses.
