Just bought my first Volvo, its a V70 2.5 20v with a full 113,000 mile Volvo service history and complete with all bills and every service costing £800 ($1600). it had new Volvo dampers fitted recently but the back end sits low the rear arch is in line with the top of the tyre, is this normal and if not how do i fix it ? are the springs sagging or is something else, any help appreciated

Post a picture please, if you want to just email me the picture I may be able to help.
Also, if he just replaced the shocks and NOT the springs, that's your answer, Nivomat equipped cars have very soft springs that are compensated by the adjustable ride height
Nivomats. If so, you have to install a proper non Nivomat spring but I would like to seea picture first
I've done MANYsuspensions onthese cars

Thanks, makes a lot of sense. The dealer qouted me £600 for a pair of nivomats and can get a sachs pair which volvo use for £300 a pair, are they a straight swap for standard ones, i was qouted £120 for standard springs. I will take a pic tomorrow and email it to you, Thanks again
