My 03V70 was rearended by a Dodge Ram. The Dodge was smashed in about 6" and the Volvo only looked like the bumper was loose. The bad news, the adjuster said the frame took the impactand may be bent and may be totaled. This well built car took the punishment and no one in the car was hurt one bit. The adjuster says when he inspects Volvos he is susprised by the punishment they take without hurting the people in the car. If totaled, I will buy another Volvo!!!!!!!
