My V70 airconditioner takes quite some time to cut in especially if the car was not driven for a day or two. The agent say it's a rare phenomenon, but the compressor magnet is faulty and the whole compressor needs to be changed ( setting me back about SGD$2,000-( USD$1600- ) In my old Mercedes ( 123 model ) I had this problem and I would just use a mallet to whack the compressor and it resolves the issue for a few months! Wondering how to reach the compressor without the need to hoist the car up? Anyone with a similar problem?
