On my Volvo V70 automatic i pushed the Shiftlock Overide to see what happens.

Now i got a big problem, it seems the button won't come out and stays pressed somehow.
When i push the gear in to parking and turn the key of the car it won't come out somehow.
I know that the gear must be in parking mode for me to get the key out, and it is but i thing it has something to do with the shiflock overide button that is stuck.

Anybody any sugestions?

 

Spray a little WD-40 or something like that in by the button and press it about 20 times to work it loose.
Over a long period of time stuff gets in there and makes it sticky.Then the button gets pressed and sticks down somewhat.
