Default Taligate latch wire code

My tailgate latch works, latches, and locks with both the key and the power locks. I do not want to change it, but the light on the dash is on. I also just got a remote, and doubt I can program it with the latch light on.

I believe there are 4 wires coming out of the latch, and I am sure 2 are for the light, and 2 are for the power latch (maybe 1 for the light, and 3 for the latch).

What can I either jump or ground to make the latch light go off on the dash, and tell the computer that the tailgate is latched so the remote will program / the alarm will come on.

(My VADIS seller on ebay scammed me, took my money and did not send me a copy so I don't have the diagram).

Thanks in advance for your help.

I looked through VADIS but didn't find a schematic for that, but maybe Tech can help in finding it if it exists there. Have you tried taking the latch out and cleaning it? There could possibly be a bad contact in there somewhere. Offer still stands if you'd like me to send you a copy of VADIS, or if you're into P2P downloads it can be found on bit torrent as well.

There is a micro switch in the latch that might be dirty and not making contact.
Might be best to remove the latch and check the micro switch for function.

I will try to get a diagram up.
