Timing belt tensioner dial moving at idle for 2004 V70 2.5T AWD
Hey gang,
I recently finished a timing belt, tensioner, idler and water pump job on my 2004 V70 2.5T AWD. My tensioner is the newer model with the post coming off the side of the block to align with. Therefore, I rotated the Allen key tensioner CLOCKWISE to align the dial indicator in the center and torqued the bolt. Put everything back together, started it up and noticed the dial indicator of the tensioner was jumping around quite a bit (SEE VIDEO). I have been driving it like this for ~1000km.
Is it normal for the timing belt tensioner to move so much at idle?
Thanks
