Default Towing - Electrical

I am installing a trailer hitch on a 98 V70. I bought a Modulite HD powerconverter that plugs in between the 4 flat connector of the Car and the trailer then connects to the battery so that the electrical load of the trailer is drawn directly from the battery. Now I am looking for a T-One connector to plug into the vehicle’s wire harness rather then splice the car wires. Does anyone know of a T-One connector for this car or am I on a witch hunt?

T-One

Check in the back of the car by the spare tire. Some of the V70's are wired already and have an extra plug hanging. It won't be a flat plug like a trailer plug. It will look like a plug from else were in the car.

From your reply then I take it that Volvo does sell an adapter that plugs into this socket and converts it to a 4 flat for the trailer? I’ll check with my local dealer. Thanks...
