Default Trouble loading VADIS, help please!

Hi, I finally got VADIS and I can't install it. At first it said I didn't have enough RAM memory so I upgraded from 480 Mb to 1 GIG. But then it still wouln't install because my integrated graphics card was borrowing 60 Mb of memory leaving me with 940MB instead of the full 1 GIG. So next I installed a separate graphics card which gave me back my full 1 GIG of RAM. It still won't install. Says that one or more componants still don't meet required specifications. My system is a 2.5 GHz Pentium 4, 1 GIG RAM, 115 GIG hard drive, Intel processor, celeron I think. What could be the problem? The techs at Future Shop say that the system is more than adequate for this software despite being 5 years old. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I plan on buying a new laptop in the next few months but not in the budget now.

Thanks, Shawn

Strange-indeed! I have contacted the buyer of the software and he is trying to figure out a way to copy the disk to my hard drive and then open or run it from there. I will respond back when I get it all figured out. Oh, and apparantly Vadis requires Windows XP Pro, not home version which of coarse I have.

I had it loaded on a home edition.
Did you remove all old traces before trying to reload it?

I only had one PC it would not load on. It kept throwing messages and I gave up.

Sorry Tech, I don't know what you mean by remove all old traces before installing. Are you refering to the installation logs on the c drive? If so no. I didn't remove old traces.

Yes any info that might have already been moved to the HD on the PC.

Even though you fixed the issues since there is a log it might not let it load.

Had the same problem, until I loaded WIN XP PRO, and it went in with no problem at all, you can load the disk into a new folder on your hdd, and then load it from there.

Talking Finally got it loaded!

I finally got VADIS loaded. What a hastle that was. I ended up having to upgrade my ram, upgrade to xp pro and have a computer techie over haul my system as it was completely bogged down with trojan horses and malware etc. Have only had an hour or so to browse the software so I am still learning to navigate it, but seems very detailed!
