Default V70 Catalytic Converter replacement

I need to replace the CC on my 2001 V70 2.4T with 150k miles. Both O2 sensors were replaced by the previous owner a few months ago. My options are the dealer replacement ($1400) or an aftermarket version from a Swedish car parts supplier who specializes in Volvos ($600). I've heard that the aftermarket parts never last as long and the best way is to get the dealer part, but I'd like some second opinions. Does anyone have experience with an aftermarket cat? Will the aftermarket Cat fall within the tolerances of my after-cat O2 sensor and the ECM?

The check engine light is on throwing PO422 and I need this car to pass inspection (CEL in Texas means it will not pass inspection). I need this new Cat to remedy my Check Engine Light problem (assuming there are no other underlying issues).

Thanks for your time,
Lost in Texas

Has the injectors been replaced?

Those cars have a big problem with bad injectors and it keeps throwing a cat code.
