Default V70 Replacing front flexi brake lines

I know this is pathetic but can someone give me a step-by-step idiots guide to replacing the front flexi brake hoses on my 2005 V70 D5 ?
The problem I have is separating the flexi from the metal pipe.
Do I remove the clip first ? How?
Do I hold the flexi end and turn the nut on the metal pipe?
Do I hold the metal pipe nut and turn the flexi hose?
I have soake everything for days but all seem very tight. I don't want to risk damaging the metal brake line.
I have the proper brake line spanners, Thanks

Corrosion can make this difficult. The flare nut on the metal line spins on the metal line. In an ideal world, you would hold the flex line still, and the metal line would also stay still, and the flare nut would turn. Sometimes, when the fittings are rusty, this doesn't work, and you may twist the metal line doing this and it may be ruined. it is perfectly reasonable to turn the flex line and hold the flare nut still if you want to, but the car was not assembled with that in mind. The car was designed to hold the flex line in a fixed position in that little bracket.
