V70 T5 Dump Valve
Hi,
I recently installed a dump valve on my 1999 v70 t5, unfortunitly I dont have a picture but the top of the dump valve itself touches the intake manifold which can get quite hot. Will this effect the dump valve at all? such as the spring? with the fitting kit i have it would be incredibly difficult for a novice like myself to somehow relocate the dumpvalve. The only other possible solution i can think of is placing some kind of heat proof material between where the dumpvalve and manifold meet, any other ideas? [&:]
Thanks

RE: V70 T5 Dump Valve
i am trying out a simple heat proof paste, the intake manifold doesnt get amazingly hot, bearly touchable, its only because the manifold and dump valve actually touch that its transfering the heat well, on another note the felt on the underside of the bonnet, what is it actually there for? i assumed noise dampening, but personaly, i like the sound of turbos spooling and valves dumping any particular repercussions of removing it?
