Hello!

I have 2005 V70 which has a spoiler factory fitted. I have only owned the car for about a month and have noticed that the rear wiper has been hitting the inside of the spoiler. The dealer has changed the wiper arm for a thinner one and it has stopped clipping the spoiler but has scratched the spoiler. I want to remove the spoiler and touch up the scratch. I can see the bolts but I was wondering if there's anything else holding it to the car (glue, adhesives etc...)

Hi creamsoda (I really like cream soda and it's been a long time since I've had some... making me thirsty).

Anyway, my initial instinct is to expect some sort of glue. I did some searching though and came across this article on the DIY Network that describes how to remove a factory spoiler (in general terms)and there's no mention of anything other than the bolts.
