When lowering my rear window a puff of smoke came from the switch, and now both back windows do not work, although the front windows are okay.

This sounds like the master switch. Is this difficult to replace? If I choose to replace it where can I find instructions? Thank you for your help.

Hello, Just remove the big screws in the arm rest and pop the liner off with a putty knife using a twisting motion. Just slide the knife up close to the panel fastener before twisting. When the liner is loose it'll still be attached at the top so lift straight up and it'll clear. Reach behind the liner and unplug electrical connections. Removal of the switch is obvious. Don't do like I did and try 10 times (no joke) to clean and reassemble the switch. The aftermarket switch offering wasn't available when I did mine. You get a choice. Kira
