Wiring harness for door

Hello folks,

I'm replacing the right side front door from my 1998 Volvo V70. Where do I find the wiring harness connection and how do I get to it? Thanks!

There is a plastic ring on the firewall that you will need to turn to get the connection loose.

Remove the little screw and turn the plastic ring and the connection will come loose. Then you can remove the door.
