Just leased a new XC40 R-Design today, and really love this car. Hoping it lives up to all I have heard about Volvo. Traded in my 2015 Jeep Cherokeee that was nothing but problems had to get lawyers involved and file Lemon Law, settled for a new transmission and $8,000. So I decided to look for something a bit more reliable. According to dealer my XC40 R-Design is the first sold in North East Ohio and part of the first 600 Made for the US.

Do you have trouble with the "key not found" error message? I do all the time, but the car runs and drives beautifully.

I have also just written them about the "background" noise - you only can hear it when the radio is off..........

Hello. I am in a similar situation where I am getting ready to trade in my 2014 Jeep Cherokee for an XC40, which should be here any day now. I'm trying to avoid the problems with the Jeep that you and so many others have had. I am also hoping the Xc40 lives up to all of the hype. Waiting is the hardest part!
Be sure to post if you are having any negative or positive experiences with your R-Design.

I just got an R-Design two days ago; my second Volvo. The first was an '85 740 GLE. Here's the new addition to the garage:

I went to see them over the weekend. The only one the dealer has already had problems. That nice deck inside the backend that you can lift up and place groceries behind was broken. The hinges were cracked already! Plus I just found the vehicle to be a bit cheap. The felt in the doors felt cheap. The plastics felt cheap and the leather felt inferior to the leather in the XC60 on display. Maybe I'm being picky after owning a XC60 for the last 8 years but still it kinda worried me.
