Reprogram FOB

I bought a new XC-40 R Design in August that was totaled in an accident in September. In October I bought another new XC-40 R. I would like to know if the key fobs from the first car can be reprogrammed to the new car? If so, can I do it myself or does it have to go to the dealer?

If possible it requires the Volvo factory diagnostic and programming system VIDA. Which you could try yourself after purchasing the needed hardware and buying a subscription from Volvo.
