I've just bought a 21 reg XC40 T3 and my Samsung S21 phone connected OK with bluetooth apart from it wouldn't transfer the contacts listings to the car. After a few unsuccessful uninstall and reinstalls, my problem was immediately resolved by moving all the contacts from the phones sim card to the phone only. The next time it connected everything worked fine.
