I test drove the T4 and T5 and while the T5 felt a little quicker I didn't really feel the power that I expected. My present vehicles are both turbo diesels (a 2014 Jetta Sportwagen with a Malone tune which provides 167 hp and 302 Tq, and a 2017 Jaguar 2.0 TDI) and maybe what I'm looking for is the diesel type of torque which the Volvo T5
doesn't have (248 hp, 258 tq). Has anyone done any towing with either the T4 or T5 XC40? If so I would like to hear about your experience. If I get the XC40 it will replace the Jaguar, so while I'll still be able to tow with my VW, I would like to be able to also two with the Volvo, but not sure if it has enough torque.

 

I haven't done any towing, but you may want to google to find some articles. Seems to me I read a towing review that was from a British website a few months back. That might help. Good luck!
