Trying to update maps via USB
Hello.
I own a 2021 XC40 T5 and I'm attempting to update my nav maps via a USB thumb drive, but the vehicle is not reading the USB while it's running. I followed the instructions below from their website: Download the Latest Maps (custhelp.com)The map must be downloaded to an empty 64 GB USB memory stick formatted with exFAT or NTFS (if downloading the full North American map) or 32 GB memory stick (if downloading the Regional Maps) formatted with FAT32. Base Map: Download the North America map upgrades here for Windows Download the North America map upgrades here for MAC After you select the appropriate link for your operating system, please select "Run" from the pop-up menu, select "New Download" and select USB. Anyone out there having issues with their vehicle not reading the USB? I've formatted in exFAT and NTFS - nothing works. Appreciate the help! |
May I know if you were able to find the solution...Did USB stick with FAT32 format worked?
i have similar issue on my 2016 XC90 plugin hybrid |
