Default ‘23 XC60 T8 Due March/April

Hi Everyone!

My mom had an 850 Turbo when I was a kid, and my brother has had an S40 and still has a V60, but this is going to be our first Volvo. This will be my wife’s daily driver, coming from 12 years of Honda Odysseys. I have a Rivian R1S on order for me, coming from a ‘14 Audi S6.

We ordered in November a Dark, Denim Blue/Blond Ultimate T8 with air suspension and the packages except the multi-thousand dollar stereo upgrade. We live in Central Indiana and ordered from the local dealer (but checked around and no one could do better than sticker to get what we wanted). Looking forward to digging in here to make the most of it!

I don’t have any specific asks just yet (and will definitely use the search function), but I saw some other notes of order, so I thought I’d share. I tend to get detailed and see how I can help the group in auto forums.

Welcome. This is a quiet place. Bit like a pub way out in the country.
i have a 2023 xc60 recharge ultimate. But it really isn’t ultimate at all. Hate to be the harbinger of bad news but do some research on here and swedespeed.com and you’ll find out this car has all sorts of issues, mainly electrical and software. I’d wish you the best of luck, you’ll need it,but there’s no point. Volvo are not the same company. They are way out of their depth technically with the PHEV cars.

That's not super encouraging. When did you get yours?

I took delivery late October 22. Bought it from Melbourne, Florida.

I just left it at the shop after waiting almost three hours. They have no idea how to fix it and are awaiting input from Volvo HQ.

that is a real bummer indeed! These are not especially new to the market vehicles, and I haven’t heard systematic troubles. I did have challenges with the Audis I had, with one needing replaced turbos, and the other needing a replaced engine.

As said, check
https://www.swedespeed.com/forums/xc60-spa-2018.5041/

There are many reported issues with the AAOS, though, in time, they appear to be getting fixed....slowly.
