Default 20 inch wheels on 2021 Momentum

Hello everyone. We are looking into a 2021 T5 Momentum. We're in New Orleans, which has very uneven, bumpy, pot-holed roads. For that reason, I have mostly been looking at 18 or 19 inch wheels. However, I was recently told that with the Momentum, since it isn't a sportier trim, the 20 inch wheels should still be able to provide a smooth ride and will not be noticeably different form 18 or 19 inch. Do y'all agree? Thanks!!!

I recently purchased a '21 XC60 T5 Momentum with the 20" wheels. The ride is very smooth and quiet. I drove it on a rough road today and it did fine. The potholes weren't huge though. I think virtually any size tire/wheel combo could be damaged by large potholes, if they're hit at a relatively fast speed.

Times 2 on the 20" wheels, they provide a smooth and great ride. I was hoping mine would come with Michelin's but got Continentals. Wow, what a ride with them and not looking back.

take advantage of the test drive before purchasing it? Take it some bumpy roads. See if dealership has 19” and 20” on demo and compare them yourself.

I live in Canada and pot holes are everywhere. You can’t avoid them some times. I don’t have a problem with the 20” but I do notice when I switch to my 19” winter set it’s smoother ride. I purchased their oem winter wheel package. Yes don’t judge me very few people would buy tires and wheel at dealership lol

I 2nd that 19” will be smoother than 20”. You have more tire aspect on the 19” therefore more air/tire between the wheel and asphalt.
