Thumbs down 2012 Volvo XC60 Charging Failure

Hey everyone , I was out driving this afternoon with my wife and our one week old baby. All of a sudden all of my dash lights came on and it gave me a code of Charging system failure , first my power steering and BLIS shut off and then the car just died. I got an absolutely horrible response from my dealer , does anyone have any idea of what would cause this ?

Unhappy

Still no word from the dealer at this point , I found a few other people with this issue out there. I think it may be just a faulty alternator , I will update again once they call.

Cheers

Hi

Our car wouldn't start and all the dash lights come on. Did the alternator solve the problem?

Deb those old posts are from 11 years ago. I suspect it's either your battery or your alternator causing you battery not to charge to start. Did you repair it yet?
