2012 XC60 100km New Transmission???
Hi, my aunt bought her 2012 xC60 brand new from the dealership. She uses it so gently and maintains it better than the average person. She had to have it towed the other day bc it wouldn’t start and they are telling her a new transmission is needed. This will cost around $9,400 CAD.
Is this common? I’m in disbelief right now as I bought my Subaru at the same time and have driven it far more than her and a lot less gently and have not had any issues like this.
Shes at the point where she needs to decide if it’s even worth it to keep. Does anyone have any foresight if this will be a recurring cost for the next few years with other things breaking down?
Thanks in advance.
