My wife drives a 2013 XC-60 3.2 with approx. 97k miles. Last summer we noticed the transmission starting to act-up with the following symptoms:

When starting off there is sometimes a delay in the transmission going back into gear. (from what I've read these transmissions are designed to essentially go into "neutral" while stopped in DRIVE and re-engage the instant you start)

Some flare-up in engine RPM's when up-shifting

Harsh downshifts, either from 4th to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd, not certain

These symptoms were more pronounced the warmer the weather and the powertrain were and basically went away in the fall and has been fine since.

Of course, I expect them to return once again when the weather warms.

I know I shouldn't expect a miracle from a fluid change but I figure it's worth a shot.

I've purchased the fluid and I have an operational VIDA DICE running that will enable me to verify that the trans. oil is at the correct temperature and also to reset the trans. oil life parameter letting the TCM know that it has fresh fluid.

I would like to replace the transmission filter at the same time but I have had no luck in finding anything at all about the transmission filter for these cars.

Who has changed their trans. filter?

Anyone have similar issues with their XC-60?
